  • What is "Rope 4 Hope"?

    Rope 4 Hope is a groundbreaking national skipping event that’s scheduled to happen on Saturday 13th September 2025.

    Rope4Hope is an official committee (formed by Mandy Shaw & Natalie Ofkants) working on behalf of Cancer Research UK to raise money for fighting cancer.

    The goal with this event is to get as many people skipping at the exact same as possible for just one minute. Along side raising money, this initiative also helps raise awareness around the importance of cardiovascular health and the positive impact skipping can have!

  • When & Where?

    This is both an in-person and online event. TJRC and Rope4Hope will be co-hosting the event at the Borough Academy in London (SE1 0EX) at 1pm.

    The venue will be open from around 12:15pm so you can arrive and warm up prior to the official start-time at 1pm.

    Can’t make it in-person? No worries, you can join our official Zoom meeting and attend the event online.

  • How do I get involved?

    To get involved, register online today and you’ll receive an info pack with all the key information you need to take part. We kindly ask for a £6 contribution for participation in this event.

  • I'm a beginner, do I need my own rope?

    Beginners are completely welcome to join the event, in fact we encourage that you do. You will need your own rope, but it doesn’t matter what type / where you get it from.

    If you don’t have a rope and/or you want to support the event even further, you can invest in one of our official Rope 4 Rope designs available here.

  • Can I help with fundraising?

    Absolutely! After registration, your information pack will include instructions on how you can set up your own Cancer Research UK ‘Giving Page’ so you can help us raise both awareness and money for Cancer Research UK.

Rope 4 Hope Fundraising Event Rope 4 Hope Fundraising Event

Your contribution helps us raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK in the fight against cancer. The registration fee is £6 which includes VAT (£1). Of the remaining £5, £3 will go directly to Cancer Research UK. The final £2 will be used to help us run the Rope 4 Hope event. Any proceeds left over after the running costs have been covered (mainly the venue hire) will also be donated directly to Cancer Research UK. You can see all our fundraising progress here.
