Leg Crosses

Leg crosses are skills where one or both hands cross under the jumper’s legs whilst jumping upright with one leg off the floor. Leg crosses can be combined to make combos such as the Awesome Annie and they form the basis of more complex skills such as Gogo crosses.

Coach Chris’s Top Tips

✅ Keep your leg up with your knee level or slightly above hip-height
✅ Keep your weight over your back foot the entire time
✅ Pull your hands back to your pockets using your elbows as you uncross
‼️ Avoid leaning forward and switching to your front foot as you exit
‼️ Avoid swinging out if you struggle to exit, unless doing so intentionally
