What Are WRIST Trainers FOR?

A common issue in learners is having imbalanced wrists, resulting in the rope rotating through a diagonal path overhead. Rope swings (where you hold both handles in one hand and swing the rope beside you) are a simple way to practice crossing skills such as Toads and EBs. The goal is to focus solely on the rope’s vertical rotation by removing the other elements of jumping rope and isolating your wrist technique. However, as you continue to turn the rope, it kinks and becomes awkward to rotate.

I developed Wrist Trainers to help clients engage their wrists fully, without the rope kinking. The weight of the thickened cord and rubber ball simulates a full-sized beaded rope.

What are wrist trainers NOT FOR?

Wrist Trainers are not designed to replace a normal jump rope.
Wrist Trainers are not designed to be used as an alternative for those with not enough space.
Wrist Trainers are not designed to be used by those struggling with the timing of jumping.

‘Cordless jump ropes’ are often advertised as an alternative for people with not enough space, a lack of coordination/timing. Cordless jump ropes are offered as an alternative to a normal jump rope. Wrist Trainers are not the same as cordless jump ropes.

What Skills Can They IMPROVE?

Wrist trainers can be used to develop your technique in many skills in jump rope such as leg crosses, releases, floaters and turns.
