The 5mm cord is a fitness fanatic’s dream. The weight and feedback in this cord is great for beginners who are looking for a jump rope they can use for fast footwork that drags a little less than a beaded rope.

Looking for something faster? The 4mm cord is roughly 35% lighter than the 5mm and provides a more streamlined feel, which is perfect for multiple unders. I personally use a 4mm PVC for a lot of my high-level multiples such as triple and quadruple unders, where speed is a must.
