How To Adjust A Beaded Rope?

All beaded ropes from Coach Chris are fully adjustable. The length can be adjusted as you progress, or to suit different styles.

To adjust your beaded rope, pull the handle down to reveal the washer and knot inside the end of the handle. Untie the knot, remove the washer and the handle, and then remove beads as needed. Click here for advice on how long your rope should be. After you have adjusted your beaded rope to the desired length, rethread the handle and washer. Before tying the knot, ensure roughly 6 inches of cord between the last bead and the handle. This helps the way the rope provides feedback to the jumper's wrist. Finally, tie the knot and test your new rope length. And you're good to go!
